John M. Gray has served as The President & CEO of the Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research, and as HDMA's President & CEO since April 2004. Prior to joining HDMA, Gray served for eight years as Food Distributor International’s (FDI’s) Executive Vice President & General Counsel. When FDI merged with the Food Marketing Institute, Gray became President & CEO of IFDA, which formed to represent foodservice distributors in 2003. From 1987 to 1994, Gray served as Vice President of Education and as Industry Affairs Counsel for the Grocery Manufacturers of America. Gray holds a MA in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Karen J. Ribler, Executive Vice President & COO of the Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research, is responsible for overseeing the Center’s operations and activities. The Center, a 501 (c)(3) organization is dedicated to providing supply chain research for the healthcare industry to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness. Prior to joining the Center, Ribler served for eight years as the President of KJR Consulting, a consulting organization that provided fundraising, research and business process improvement insights to the retail food and foodservice channels. From 1990 to 1998, Ribler served as the Executive Vice President and COO of the National Food Brokers Association Education Foundation. Ribler holds graduate degrees from Northwestern University.
