Supply Chain Security Seminar to Provide Tactics to Combat Theft

Those in your company responsible for securing the supply chain must constantly review operating procedures to protect your products, your employees and your company from increasingly sophisticated threats. The Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research’s Supply Chain Security seminar, to be held Monday, May 10 through Tuesday, May 11 in Alexandria, Va., will provide your company’s supply chain security personnel with the necessary tools to enhance and refine your security strategy.

Are You Prepared? — an interactive session moderated by Chuck Forsaith, Corporate Director of Supply Chain Security at Purdue Pharma L.P. — will simulate an in-transit cargo theft. You and your peers will learn a proven step-by-step strategy to take control of such a situation and maximize your opportunity to recover your product. The exercise will highlight the information you need to gather — and who on your security team should own responsibility for specific tasks.

At the end of the session, you will be able to take the exercise back to your company. This tool will help you and your team fully understand the vital role each person plays and maximize preparedness should a security event occur.
