ARLINGTON, Va., November 30, 2011 – The Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research, the research foundation of the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA), announced that Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, will continue its sponsorship of the Nexus Award for Lifetime Achievement. The sponsorship is part of an ongoing commitment by the Center and Genentech to recognize and honor excellence in the healthcare distribution industry.
“The Nexus Award acknowledges exceptional character, accomplishments and leadership in HDMA, the industry and the community,” said Karen J. Ribler, Executive Vice President and COO of the Center for Healthcare Supply Chain Research. “We are pleased that Genentech will once again sponsor this prestigious award, which is the healthcare distribution industry’s highest recognition.”
This lifetime achievement award will be presented on Monday, June 11 during the HDMA 2012 Business & Leadership Conference, convening June 10-13, 2012, at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas. The previous winner of the Nexus Award was R. David Yost, former Chief Executive Officer of AmerisourceBergen Corporation.
